Bharat Freight Group (BFG) is an umbrella brand under which more than 25 multi-modal service-providing companies operate.  BFG has been well established within the field of shipping and logistics since past 3 decades.

 

Our ambition is to capitalize on ideal capacities, distressed assets, untapped areas, and other potential opportunities by “creating corridors”. Our receptive outlook of being open towards ideas, suggestions, needs and solutions for holistic problem solving has made us a key player in the industry.

 

We started off as a single company providing Custom House Agency in late 1960’s. Our widespread network of infrastructure and talent within the organization has enabled us to grow multi-fold under the leadership of Mr. Sohel Kazani who was joined by Mr. Zunaid Pradhan, and was then expanded by entering all aspects of supply chain management, sea and surface logistics, port management, international trade, as well as biofuels among others.  The activities grew exponentially and so as our ever-spreading network. Initially started with 2 and is now at 650+ employees, partners, and associates, which speaks about our reputation for itself. 

 

The approach of innovation, professionalism, reliability, and exceptional facilities, sets us apart and at forefront with our endeavors. Our aim is to explore and broaden our services especially in the verticals listed below which comes under three main portfolios i.e., Terminal Management & Engineering, Supply Chain Management, and Allied Activities. 

 

1. Our main vertical is Port & Rail Terminal Management and Engineering with operations in Republic of India, Islamic Republic of Iran, Union of Myanmar, and State of Kuwait that includes dredging. Within the engineering i.e., equipment maintenance and spares supply, we are expanding by including shipyard management too.

2. In complimenting the port and rail terminal management services, we facilitate entire supply chain management which includes Clearing and Forwarding procedures across India as well as have expertise in International Freight Forwarding (IFF), Non-Vessel Owning Common Carrier (NVOCC), chartering and agency operation on the shipping side and domestic movements, C&F and warehousing on the logistics side. Our Multi-modal cargo transportation involves coastal shipping, rail freight, road as well as air movements. Our passenger transport comprises of Water Taxis, Ferries, and RO-RO vessels. 

3. A no of companies solely focuses on manufacturing, trading, warehousing and distribution of cement and various building materials. To facilitate the demands and growth we have also propounded towards retail ventures into biofuel, technology, travel, and food industry, as well as cinema.
